For brands and manufacturers who have coloured products made

Colour that arrives in production the way you decided it.

I implement DMIx, the software that carries your decision through the chain as a measured value. Between approval and goods lie displays, light sources, continents, cultures and time zones. Fewer samples, faster decisions, deadlines that hold.

For owners, shareholders and insolvency administrators

Patents and trademarks that become capital instead of costing fees.

Rights that deliver only part of their value with you are strategic for someone else: in another industry, in another segment. I prepare the sale or licence, approach vetted buyers and negotiate through to signature. NDA first, no marketplace.

02 · Brokerage of patents and trademarksHow the sale works →

  1. ·
One colour standardfor design, sourcing and every factory.
  2. ·
Defined tolerancesinstead of a verdict at the light booth.
  3. ·
Approvals on measured dataat every site, under every light.
  1. ·
Vetted buyersfrom patent databases, citations, competition.
  2. ·
A managed processthat holds up before boards and creditors’ committees.
  3. ·
Including insolvency and carve-outprepared to withstand the proceedings.
Track record

Introduced the colour process myself, before it became a product.

First-hand experience
I did not invent the method behind the colour processes, I introduced it. I know the objections from design, sourcing and the factory because I heard them myself.
Production from the inside
Trained shoemaker, later responsible for design and manufacturing. I know how much work colour approvals take, from the physical sample to final production, and at which point a colour decision gets lost on its way into production.
Track record

A patent family negotiated internationally and defended before boards.

Negotiated in person
Prepared, negotiated, defended before boards. I know what a buyer examines, what a creditors’ committee asks and what still makes a sale fail in the final week.
The right buyers found
Whoever decides on a patent can be researched: from patent databases, citations and competitive analysis. For an IP right this means the first approach goes to the right person, not the nearest one.
Procedure

DMIx: running colour and material digitally

One colour standard for everyone involved, defined tolerances, approvals on measured data, at every site and under every light. What the procedure delivers, and where its limits lie.

Fritz Terbuyken, founder and owner
Who is behind it

I founded Nuvalista in 2026, after forty years in industry.

Trained shoemaker, economics graduate, then more than fifteen years on executive boards. I have run brands, taken over factories, been responsible for trade associations, and I am negotiating the international sale of a patent family. I know the decision-makers in manufacturing and retail personally, many of them for decades.

As a board member I asked the questions I answer today: Why does the colour arrive differently from what we approved? What are rights worth that we no longer use? Now I work on those questions from outside, without a corporate apparatus. That is why Nuvalista has no sales department. It has me.

You speak to the person who answers for it.

You describe the situation, and I will tell you openly whether Nuvalista is the right partner. Either way, you leave with a first assessment.
